Rates & discounts
Standard hourly rate: typically £45–£55 per hour plus materials.
Subscribers: receive a discount on our labour (5–10% depending on plan) and can bundle small jobs together during scheduled visits to minimise cost.
Larger or specialist work (full plumbing, electrical rewires, roofing, major joinery, garden projects) is passed to trusted partner trades at agreed rates.
Smart Home & Mobility Consultation
We help you make your home more comfortable, safer and easier to manage by adding the right kind of smart devices and practical mobility upgrades. This is especially helpful for busy families, people working from home and older homeowners who want to stay independent for longer.
What we can look at
- Smart thermostats and heating schedules
- Leak detection, smoke alarms and sensors
- Lighting for safety and comfort
- Grab rails, thresholds and trip hazards
- Simple automations (e.g. dehumidifier cycles)
- Ideas that match your budget and tech comfort level
Consultation & follow-up
Consultation visit: typically 60–90 minutes on site, from £85. This can be combined with a Home Health Inspection if booked together.
After the visit you'll receive a simple action plan outlining suggested upgrades, likely costs and which items can be handled by HouseWise versus partner trades.
